            This is my presentation about my goals for term one.

The Boy And The Tree

WALT - plan a piece of Descriptive writing using our 5 senses:

See:  What is this boy looking at?  Who or what is looking at him?  What can you see? grass swaying from side to side. antelope running passed him Squirrels sleeping insects eating of the juicy leaves.

Hear:  What might this boy be able to hear? antelopes hooves  breaking upon the ground. insects munching upon the leaves. sound of the wind whistling in his ears. sound of a tiger roaring 100 metres away.

Smell:  What might this boy be able to smell?   What does the tree smell like?   What does the air smell like?   What does the boy smell like? smelly breath of the lion smell of fear smell the old trees bark smell the juicy leaves

Taste:  What might this boy be able to taste? dirt as the antelopes galloped by bark on the tree spit of the snoring squirrel Fresh air

Feel:  What does the tree feel like underneath his fingertips?  How does the ground feel underneath his feet?  What does the air feel like?  How is he feeling on the inside? roughness on the tree ground shaking spikiness of the ground coldness of the air

He gazed at the  antelope running past as he held tightly on the tree. He inspected the squirrels sleeping nice and                                       comfortably up in the tree, insects eating all of the juicy leaves.

He could hear the antelopes hooves breaking upon the ground. He could hear the insects munching upon the leaves. He liked the sound of the wind whistling in his ears. He noticed  the  sound of a lion roaring 100 metres away.

He could smell the smelly breath of the lion. He could smell the old tree bark. He was smelling the juicy leaves.

He could taste the unpleasant dirt as the wind blew it towards his face.He could taste the bark on the tree. He could taste the spit of the snoring squirrel. He liked the taste of the fresh air blowing towards his mouth.

He did not like the feeling of  the roughness on the tree. He could feel the ground shaking extremely out of control. He felt the spikiness of the grass. He could feel the coldness of the air.

Mark Lowndes

On Wednesday the 13th of February, we were lucky enough to interview Mark Lowndes. He is famous for his appearance in Australia’s Got Talent. Miss Aireen organized out interview, which we did online using google chat. I learnt that Mark Lowndes Favourite colour is Black, Green and yellow. I learnt that Mark Lowndes Has meet some famous people in his past. I learnt that Mark Lowndes parents split up when he was about 8 or 9.I learnt that Mark Lowndes was patient with his music.
I learnt that Mark Lowndes Mum was the one that taught him how to sing.he left us with this message of never too give up on your dreams and just be patient with what you  want to become when you grow up.I felt so inspired because he gave us a lot of tips of what you want to be when you grow up.
