2.  Write down all of the metaphors you found below:
He’s an amusing monkey, swinging from vine to vine.

Jabin is bright and bubbly.

A bright warm sun, breaking through the clouds on a misty morning.

An up-beat hip-hop song.

6.  Think of someone in your family - it could be a sibling, cousin, aunt, uncle or parent.  Write a poem that uses metaphors to describe them.

7. Publish your poem using an online programme of your choice (e.g. picmonkey, google presentation).

All my brothers are cheeky monkeys because they tease my mum.
My family are hungus pigs because we eat a lot of food.
My dad is a travel freak because he travels a lot.
My mum has elephant ears because she listens to everything anybody says for her to do.
My little nephews are like sneaky rats because they sneak into the fridge and eat the all the food.
My sisters are donkeys because they laugh like one.
I am a elephant because I am loud when it comes to video games.
